K-I-N-G spells king
The adult in charge will be at the one end of the hall, with the cubs standing at the opposite end of the hall. The adult will have their back to the cubs that will call out K-I-N-G spells king, as she is saying that the cubs are running towards her. As she says king they have to freeze, anyone who isn’t frozen goes back to the beginning, and they must touch the wall to be king. You can use any four letter word, e.g.: pack.
Cat and Mouse:
Cubs stand in a circle. One cub is a mouse inside the circle and another cat on the outside of the circle. The circle cubs hold hands to form arches for the cat and mouse to get in or out, they choose who to let in and keep out, the object is for the cat to catch the mouse. For cubs you can make the mouse Mowgli and the cat Shere khan.
Thanks so much for the awesome programmes.
